Our story began in 1996 when we met at WLTX-TV in Columbia, South Carolina. Alison worked in production; I was a reporter. We fell in love and got married in March 1999. By then, we had moved to Greenville, South Carolina, where I landed a reporting job at WSPA-TV and Alison worked as a director for WYFF-TV.

At about this time, we began reading the popular "Left Behind" series of books about the biblical Tribulation. I was reluctant at first, but soon got drawn into the story. It triggered a lot of questions for Alison and me, questions that begged for answers.

One weekend, almost on a whim, we walked into a church in north Phoenix that we had driven past numerous times. Its name was Desert Breeze Community Church. The place was welcoming, informative, and comfortable. We were hooked.

We never realized that the creator of the universe desired a relationship with us. With everybody. Being the skeptical reporter and longtime non-believer, it took time and work for me to embrace Christian beliefs. I'm still questioning. Indeed, we're both still a work in progress. But our belief in Christ is unwavering. We hope you will discover what it can do for your lives.

In the summer of 2006, we felt God calling us back to the Southeastern part of the United States -- where both are families live.  Bryan secured a reporting position at WRAL, a station in Raleigh, NC.  He is a Fayetteville bureau reporter, which allows us to live in Fayetteville NC, very close to both our families.

We will continue have our eyes open to see the doors God is opening for us.
We ask for prayer on continued guidance on our new journey.
